The colors are beautiful and crisp. The pewter lid works perfectly. Overall it is in brand new condition considering it is 75-years-old. There are no chips, cracks or repairs of any kind on this piece
This relief stein was made just after WWII in the French Zone of occupied Germany probably by Rheinhold Hanke, ca. 1945 to 1949.
