This beautiful vintage bracelet is a classic piece of Chinese Export Silver jewelry from the Art Deco era (1920s-1930s). It features seven oval cabochons of natural, creamy pale green Type A Jadeite Jade, each set within an ornate, highly detailed sterling silver frame. The bracelet's panels showcase exquisite traditional Chinese scrollwork and filigree detailing, with four distinct symbols subtly repeated on each panel for good fortune. The bracelet secures with a sturdy box-and-tongue clasp and an added safety chain. This style was highly sought after by Western tourists traveling in Asia during the first half of the 20th century.
The bracelet is marked "SILVER CHINA" on the clasp. It measures approximately 7 1/4" long. The panels vary in width, with the widest measuring about 7/8" and tapering to about 5/8". Weighs about 30.00 grams.
