Ultra Rare Gel Bustamite w/ Double Termi

A very rare combination specimen of a perfect double terminated Calcite on gel Bustamite from the Kalahari Manganese Fields of South Africa. This discovery is the one time double terminated Calcite crystals of this growth habit have ever been found in the Kalahari. Out of that small find this specimen was the only one associated with Bustamite! Bustamite is extremely rare in its own right found usually in association with Sugilite, Manganese, Richterite and several others....but not with double terminated Calcite. There could be some tiny needles of Bulfonteinite included within the Calcite. I mention this because every other double terminated Calcite crystal found had Bulfonteinite inclusions. The inclusions created well zoned phantoms. The Calcite itself is near flawless and superb in every way. This specimen was an ex Kalahari Classics Specimen. You will not find another one like this.
