NIB This is a model kit of the German Sd.Kfz.164 'Nashorn' tank destroyer from World War II. It is a highly detailed kit that is perfect for modelers of all skill levels.
The Nashorn was a German tank destroyer of World War II. It was developed as an interim solution in 1942 and was armed with the powerful 8.8 cm Panzerjägerkanone 43/1 L/71 anti-tank gun. Although lightly armored and with a high profile, it could penetrate virtually any Allied tank at long range, and it was more mobile than the heavier German self-propelled guns.
It was important in the fighting on the Eastern and Western Fronts, however, due to its structural issues and unreliable gun, production ceased in 1945 with just under 500 produced.
