This is a plaid Edwardian cape with a faux fur muffler and brown long hair wig with bangs, great for going as Samantha Parkington for Halloween or a Dickens fair. You would need to find the white furry beret for Samantha. The width at the top of the cape is 18” and length is 34”. The cape is reversible and the blue velvet side has a tear of 3/4”. I think it’s original, vintage Pleasant Company/American Girl because it is an exact copy of the doll version, but that part of the tag is missing. I have cats and their hair is inevitable.
