The story begins in the early morning of the first day of the Kishiwada Danjiri Festival in September 1924 (Taisho 13), with the protagonist seeing off her father who is participating in the festival. The Danjiri Festival scenes were filmed with the cooperation of Gokenyacho, Kishiwada City, using a real Danjiri that was brought to the Toei Kyoto Studio Park set.
As a morning drama, it was the first to be filmed entirely with a progressive camera, and the images used have a film-like quality, similar to historical dramas on the same channel, including recent Taiga dramas.
