These are a pair of red Chinese guardian lions, also known as Foo Dogs or Fu Dogs.
They are traditional Chinese architectural ornaments often made of stone, though these appear to be resin figurines.
Foo Dogs are placed in pairs to provide protection, guard against evil spirits, and bring blessings.
Typically, the male (left, in the image) rests his paw on a ball, representing the world or wealth, while the female (right) holds a cub under her paw, representing the protection of the family.
They are commonly displayed facing outwards on either side of a main door or hallway
