Mid-Century Modern Murano Art Glass Sommerso Bullicante Dish/Ash Tray

Vintage Mid-Century Modern Murano Art Glass Hand Blown Ashtray/Dish. This dish is amazing! It features sommerso and bullicante techniques. The bottom layer of glass is a transparent honey amber color that glistens in the light and is full of the controlled bubbles of the bullicante. The inner layer of the sommerso is a dark rich amethyst color. The line between the layers is sharp, smooth, and even. Approx. 8" long, 6" wide, and 4" tall. Pontil is polished smooth and clear. Excellent Vintage Condition. Wear is consistent with age. There is a place on the bottom where the three points meet, it is like a faceted spot. It is smooth and polished. I just wanted to make you aware that the bottom has this prior to purchase. No chips, cracks, breaks, or repairs.
