This crystal basket is just stunning! It features an etched bird on each side framed with ruby flashing. A tiny singing bird on the handle. A sawtooth top rim. It is sparkly in the sunlight.
24% leaded crystal Hofbauer Bleikristall basket.
It is in very good preowned vintage condition with no chips or hazing. Some wear to the ruby flashing on both sides. See close ups in last two photos. There is also a hairline crack on the handle but it’s not broken. This piece is likely 50-60 years old!
Would be a great addition to your collection or a wonderful stand alone piece. Beautiful to display when not in use!
