Over the course of 2 decades, Thomas Gurrath has created a whole band universe consisting of the bands Debauchery, Blood God and Balgeroth. This Trinity of Blood Gods has now been united under the name BLUTGOTT. The individual incarnations all cover different musical styles, there is pounding death metal (Debauchery), metal with German lyrics (Balgeroth) and hard-rock-tinted metal (Blood God). The stories Gurrath tells in his lyrics are all interwoven with Gurrath's own BLUTGOTT metal universe. This album is about Dracul Drakorgoth and the Trinity of Blood Gods. Most of the lyrics are about the War of Balgeroth at the end of the second age of mankind.
