Handmade Bent Nicks mermaid brooch, signed on the back of the head. Crafted in New Orleans from black lucite and wrapped with recycled copper wire, then embellished with mixed vintage and artisan beads for rich texture and color.

• Beads include vintage Czech glass (ex-Mardi Gras favors) and African/hand-crafted glass
