| The ATX-EXPCMR-BP-HH-QXGA Battery Powered Intrinsically Safe Digital Camera from Larson Electronics is suitable for use in Class I, Division 1 and ATEX/IECEx rated combustible sites. Powered by two AA batteries, the handheld monitoring device offers audio and video recording @ 3.1 megapixels (2048 x 1536 resolution). Constructed of injection molded anti-static plastic (housing) with anti-static silicone rubber (boot), the IP65 rated camera features autofocus and USB connectivity. Camera Features: The ATX-EXPCMR-BP-HH-QXGA intrinsically safe camera provides operators in hazardous areas with crisp high resolution images and audio recordings. Equipped with a 3.39mm lens with autofocus, this battery-powered unit produces up to 3.1 megapixels @ 2048 x 1536 resolution images. The explosion proof device features a two-element optical view finder and 68° diagonal field of view. Flash is provided by 4 LEDs, providing 131 lux/seconds of energy @ 67 ms exposure. This ATEX/IECEx rated camera handles .wav audio recording format and .jpeg image format. Operating modes include on and auto power-down after 3 minutes. This camera is capable of recording audio and taking still shot images with or without flash. This camera does not record video formats. The ATX-EXPCMR-BP-HH-QXGA is powered by two AA batteries, which allows for approximately 600 shots without flash and 100 shots with flash. Connectivity is facilitated by USB 1.1 (mini-USB socket), connected only in safe areas and certified for direct connection to a computer without an external protection barrier. Operating system compatibility includes Windows XP/Vista/7/8 and most versions of Linux. USB firmware upgrade utility for Windows XP/Vista/7/8 only. Time and date stamping is provided automatically (PTP). The intrinsically safe security camera is constructed of injection molded anti-static plastic (housing), with anti-static silicone rubber (boot). For use in combustible environments, the IP65 rated waterproof unit resists the corrosive effects of weather, dust, dirt, and humidity. The camera is capable of operating in hazardous locations and ATEX/IECEx rated facilities with temperatures ranging between -20ºC to +60ºC (Group II) or 0°C to +60°C (Group I). Mounting: The ATX-EXPCMR-BP-HH-QXGA is a point-and-shoot device that is designed for portable use, allowing operators to hold the camera when recording.
