American Optical AO 5 1/2 Matte Chrome 52[]20 bayonet aviator sunglasses with new Fuse Pro Midnight Blue Mirror polarized plastic lenses. Fuse Pro is a huge upgrade over standard-three times more durable, and they have the best scratch warranty in the business. The frames are original Matte Chrome aviator frames that were issued to Naval Aviators in the 60-70’s. They have been disassembled, cleaned, and straightened back to original specifications. The original AO nose pads have been replaced with new nose pads. The temple tips have some very minor yellowing, see pictures.The frames are 5.5” wide. Please use that as a guide, with a pair of glasses that fit your face, to make sure these will fit your face. Please do this before you bid. The frames are extensively detailed, but they are not new. I do my best, but I cannot make them new. Comes with a new soft or hard case, your choice. A piece of military history in excellent condition.
