Antique Gold Gilt Gesso Baroque Frame Glass Front 17.5" x19 3/4" Holds 8x10 art or photo. This beautiful antique gold gilt frame features the Victorian Baroque style, perfect for showcasing paintings, fine art prints or photos. This gilded gesso frame I believe dates to the late 19th or early 20th century. It features ornate acorn and leaf scroll detailing throughout. In very nice antique condition. The gold gilt is still shiny with light patina. Light wear as is normal for an antique. Structurally sound with a minor seam separation, corner wear, and small amount of missing gesso at a couple corners. The frame has no major damage. Glass front has no cracks or major scratches 8" x 10". The back shows its age. String for hanging. No maker's mark. Measures 17 1/2" W x 19 3/4" T x 1 3/4" D. Weight 4 lbs. 8 oz.
